A World of
Wisdom, A Quick Scan Away.
Use the camera on your iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 to scan virtually
any kind of barcode, and voila! Whether you'd like a book review, need the ingredients or nutritional
information of a grocery product, or simply want to check out a QR code, we've got you
covered. And we give you the lowest prices as well so you can save some green.
Because There's No
Place Like Around The Corner
Bakodo Scanner allows you to find exactly what you want, as close as
you want it. Looking to grab that book straight away? Scan it, choose a store, and you'll get the
address, how far it is, and even driving directions if you'd like. Don't forget: you can call
them first to make sure they're still open!
Scan One and Done
We've integrated some of the major product search engines - Amazon, Google, and
eBay to name a few - so you can maximize your buying power. With information on over 12 million products,
and more added every day, Bakodo gives you all the knowledge you need so you can get on your way. It's a
one-stop shopping guru that fits in your pocket.
No Phone Left Unturned
Here at Bakodo, we strive to maximize the user experience. With our advanced
scanning technology, you can choose to hold your phone in landscape mode, which makes the scan even more precise - and
it's probably a bit more comfortable too. Bakodo understands all the major barcode types: EAN-13 (books, electronics), UPC-A (groceries), UPC-E, and EAN-8, with additional types soon to come.
An App That Fits You
Switch preferences on the fly to customize your results. Turn off the scan
beep, have it open to your scan history upon launch, or change the country and currency. And feel free
to rate us in the AppStore! If you'd like us to add a particular vendor, a new product detail category,
or anything else, please let us know by sending an email to info@bako.do.
iPad and iPod Touch Users:
You might not be able to scan, but you can still take full advantage of our great
keyword search interface. Enter either the barcode number or the name of the product you're looking for. You still
get all the goodness.
